Additional fencing will be added near Plant Sciences and KTRDC related to the construction projects from Aug. 19-25. Vehicle access will be maintained throughout the project but will be restricted to one lane.

The first phase will start behind KTRDC near the tunnel and extend toward the intersection with the PSS access road. Once the first phase is completed, the second phase will extend from the access road and fence along the road behind the PSS building. 

The accessible parking and sidewalk will remain open. See below for details.

PHASE I

• Start Date: 8/19/24
• Veteran Dr. tunnel to remain open; half of the drive will be closed. Public protection to be installed by the contractor.
• Alley between construction site and Tobacco Research Building to remain open and accessible by pedestrians and delivery trucks.
• Estimated Duration: 3 days

PHASE II

• Start Date: 8/22/24
• Half of the Plant Science Building drive will be closed. Public protection to be installed by the contractor.
• Estimated Duration: 2 days
